Mummified Mermaid Body Found

There are many mermaid stories from Japan, but this one story based on an ancient legend 1,400 years ago. One story that comes from the story of Shinto belief in Fujinomiya City near the foot of Mount Fuji, Japan.

In one of the Shinto shrine in Fujinomiya saved a 170 cm tall mermaid mummies 1,400 years old. This is one of the oldest and largest mummified mermaid who is still stored in Japan.
